Ingredients

  • 🌾 All-purpose flour – 2 cups
  • 💧 Water – 1 cup
  • 🧈 Ghee or oil – for frying
  • 🧂 Salt – 1 tsp
  • 🥚 1 Egg (optional)

Instructions

  • 🥣 Mix flour, salt, and water (and egg if using) to form a dough.
  • ✊ Knead the dough well until smooth and elastic.
  • 🔪 Divide dough into small balls, flatten, and spread with ghee.
  • 🫓 Stretch and fold the dough to create layers.
  • 🔥 Cook on a hot griddle with ghee until golden brown and crispy. Serve hot with curry.
