Ingredients
- ๐ฅ Ricotta cheese โ 1 cup
- ๐ฅ Eggs โ 2 large
- ๐ Sugar โ 1/4 cup
- ๐พ Flour โ 1/2 cup
- ๐ Lemon zest โ 1 tsp
- ๐ข๏ธ Oil โ for frying
- โจ Powdered sugar โ for dusting
Instructions
- ๐ฅฃ In a bowl, mix ricotta, eggs, sugar, flour, and lemon zest until smooth.
- ๐ฅ Heat oil in a deep fryer or large pot to 350ยฐF (175ยฐC).
- ๐ฅ Drop spoonfuls of the batter into the hot oil, being careful not to overcrowd.
- ๐ณ Fry until golden brown and cooked through, about 2-3 minutes per side.
- ๐งป Remove with a slotted spoon and drain on paper towels. Dust with powdered sugar and serve warm. โจ
