Ingredients
- 🍚 Basmati Rice – soaked
- 🐔 Chicken/Mutton – medium pieces
- 🧅 Onions – thinly sliced
- 🍅 Tomatoes – chopped
- 🌿 Mint Leaves – chopped
- 🌿 Coriander Leaves – chopped
- 🫙 Biryani Masala – to taste
- 🫚 Ginger-Garlic Paste – 2 tbsp
- 🍋 Lemon Juice – 1 tbsp
- 🍶 Ghee – 2 tbsp
Instructions
- 🔥 Marinate meat with ginger-garlic paste, biryani masala, and lemon juice.
- 🧅 Sauté onions until golden brown. Add tomatoes and cook until soft.
- 🍚 Layer rice, marinated meat, fried onions, mint, and coriander in a pot (kunda).
- 💧 Add water or stock. Cover and cook on low heat until rice is done.
- ✨ Garnish with fried onions and fresh herbs. Serve hot.
