Ingredients

  • 🍚 Basmati Rice – soaked
  • 🐔 Chicken/Mutton – medium pieces
  • 🧅 Onions – thinly sliced
  • 🍅 Tomatoes – chopped
  • 🌿 Mint Leaves – chopped
  • 🌿 Coriander Leaves – chopped
  • 🫙 Biryani Masala – to taste
  • 🫚 Ginger-Garlic Paste – 2 tbsp
  • 🍋 Lemon Juice – 1 tbsp
  • 🍶 Ghee – 2 tbsp

Instructions

  • 🔥 Marinate meat with ginger-garlic paste, biryani masala, and lemon juice.
  • 🧅 Sauté onions until golden brown. Add tomatoes and cook until soft.
  • 🍚 Layer rice, marinated meat, fried onions, mint, and coriander in a pot (kunda).
  • 💧 Add water or stock. Cover and cook on low heat until rice is done.
  • ✨ Garnish with fried onions and fresh herbs. Serve hot.
