Ingredients
- 🔴 Kidney Beans (Rajma) – 1 cup soaked overnight
- 🧅 Onions – 2 medium, finely chopped
- 🍅 Tomatoes – 3 medium, pureed
- 🧄 Ginger-Garlic paste – 1 tbsp
- 🌶️ Green chilies – 1-2, slit
- 🌿 Coriander powder – 1 tsp
- 🌶️ Red chili powder – 1/2 tsp
- 🥄 Turmeric powder – 1/4 tsp
- 🥄 Garam masala – 1/2 tsp
- 🌿 Fresh coriander leaves – for garnish
- 🧂 Salt – to taste
- 🥄 Cooking oil – 2 tbsp
Instructions
- 🥘 Pressure cook soaked kidney beans with water and salt until soft.
- 🔥 Heat oil in a pan, add onions and sauté until golden brown.
- 🧄 Add ginger-garlic paste and green chilies, sauté for a minute.
- 🍅 Add tomato puree and all the spice powders, cook until oil separates.
- 🔴 Add cooked kidney beans and simmer for 15-20 minutes. Garnish with coriander leaves and serve hot with rice.
