Ingredients

  • 🌾 Ragi flour – 2 tbsp
  • 💧 Water – 2 cups
  • 🥛 Milk – 1/2 cup (optional)
  • 🍬 Jaggery or sugar – to taste
  • 🌰 Cardamom – a pinch

Instructions

  • 🥣 Mix ragi flour with a little cold water to avoid lumps.
  • 💧 Boil the remaining water in a pot.
  • 🌾 Add the ragi mixture to the boiling water and stir continuously to prevent lumps.
  • 🔥 Cook for 10-15 minutes until it thickens and the raw smell disappears.
  • 🍬 Add jaggery or sugar and cardamom powder, stir well. Add milk if desired.
  • ☕ Serve hot.
