Ingredients
- 🦆 Duck – 1 whole duck
- 🧅 Onion – 1 large, chopped
- 🥕 Carrots – 2 medium, chopped
- 🌿 Thyme – 2 sprigs
- 🌶️ Paprika – 2 tsp
- 🧄 Garlic – 4 cloves, minced
- 💧 Broth – 2 cups (chicken or duck)
- 🧂 Salt & Pepper – to taste
Instructions
- 🔥 Sear the duck on all sides in a large pot or Dutch oven.
- 🧅 Add onions, carrots, garlic, and thyme to the pot.
- 🌶️ Sprinkle with paprika, salt, and pepper.
- 💧 Pour in broth, bring to a simmer, cover, and cook in a low oven (275°F/135°C) for 3 hours, or until the duck is very tender.
- ✨ Remove duck from pot, shred the meat with two forks, and mix with some of the cooking liquid. Serve warm on buns or rolls.
