Ingredients

  • 🥖 Ladyfingers – 10-12 sponge biscuits
  • ☕ Espresso – 1 cup, cooled
  • 🧀 Mascarpone cheese – 1 cup, softened
  • 🥛 Heavy cream – 1.5 cups for a runny flow
  • 🍬 Powdered sugar – 1/2 cup
  • 🍫 Cocoa powder – for dusting
  • 🎞️ Acetate sheet – to create the pull-up collar

Instructions

  • ☕ Briefly dip ladyfingers in espresso and layer them neatly on a flat serving plate.
  • 🥣 In a bowl, whisk together mascarpone, sugar, and heavy cream until slightly thickened but still pourable.
  • 🎞️ Wrap an acetate sheet tightly around the layered biscuits and secure it with tape to form a tall collar.
  • 🍦 Pour the cream mixture inside the collar and dust the top generously with sifted cocoa powder.
  • ✨ Gently pull the plastic sheet straight up to let the cream flow over the sides for the 'tsunami' effect.
