Ingredients
- 🥖 Ladyfingers – 10-12 sponge biscuits
- ☕ Espresso – 1 cup, cooled
- 🧀 Mascarpone cheese – 1 cup, softened
- 🥛 Heavy cream – 1.5 cups for a runny flow
- 🍬 Powdered sugar – 1/2 cup
- 🍫 Cocoa powder – for dusting
- 🎞️ Acetate sheet – to create the pull-up collar
Instructions
- ☕ Briefly dip ladyfingers in espresso and layer them neatly on a flat serving plate.
- 🥣 In a bowl, whisk together mascarpone, sugar, and heavy cream until slightly thickened but still pourable.
- 🎞️ Wrap an acetate sheet tightly around the layered biscuits and secure it with tape to form a tall collar.
- 🍦 Pour the cream mixture inside the collar and dust the top generously with sifted cocoa powder.
- ✨ Gently pull the plastic sheet straight up to let the cream flow over the sides for the 'tsunami' effect.
