Ingredients

  • 🍚 Basmati Rice – 1 cup
  • 🧅 Onions – 1 medium, sliced
  • 🥕 Mixed Vegetables – 1 cup (peas, carrots, beans)
  • 🍶 Ghee – 2 tablespoons
  • 🧂 Spices – whole (cumin, cloves, bay leaf)

Instructions

  • 🍚 Soak rice for 20 minutes.
  • 🔥 Heat ghee in a pot and add whole spices.
  • 🧅 Add onions and sauté until golden brown.
  • 🥕 Add vegetables and sauté for 5 minutes.
  • 💧 Add rice and water (2 cups), bring to a boil, then simmer until water is absorbed.
