Ingredients
- 🥩 Prime Rib Roast – 5-6 lbs
- 🧄 Garlic – minced
- 🌿 Fresh Rosemary – chopped
- 🌿 Fresh Thyme – chopped
- 🧂 Salt – to taste
- 🌶️ Black Pepper – to taste
- 🧅 Onion – quartered
- 🥕 Carrots – roughly chopped
- 🥣 Beef Broth – 1 cup
Instructions
- 🔥 Preheat oven to 450°F (232°C).
- 🔪 Prepare the prime rib by rubbing it with garlic, rosemary, thyme, salt, and pepper.
- 🧅 Place onions and carrots in a roasting pan, then place the prime rib on top.
- ⏲️ Roast for 15 minutes, then reduce heat to 325°F (163°C) and continue roasting until desired internal temperature is reached.
- 🥣 Add beef broth to the pan during the last hour of cooking.
- ✨ Let rest for 15-20 minutes before carving and serving.
