Ingredients
- 🥔 Potatoes – thinly sliced
- 🧅 Onion – thinly sliced
- 🧄 Garlic – minced
- 🌿 Fresh thyme – chopped
- 🥛 Heavy cream – 1 cup
- 🧀 Gruyere cheese – grated
- 🧈 Butter – for greasing
- 🧂 Salt & pepper – to taste
Instructions
- 🔥 Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a loaf pan with butter.
- 🥔 Arrange a layer of potato slices in the pan, overlapping slightly.
- 🧅 Sprinkle with onion, garlic, thyme, salt, pepper, and cheese.
- 🥛 Pour a little cream over the layer. Repeat layers until all ingredients are used.
- 🥘 Bake for 1 hour 30 minutes, or until potatoes are tender and top is golden brown.
- ✨ Let cool slightly before slicing and serving.
