Ingredients
- 🐷 Pork Jowl – thinly sliced
- 🍝 Linguine – 8 oz
- 🧄 Garlic – minced
- 🌶️ Red Pepper Flakes – to taste
- 🧀 Parmesan Cheese – grated
- 🌿 Fresh Parsley – chopped
- 🥚 Egg Yolks - 2 large
Instructions
- 🥓 Render pork jowl in a pan until crispy. Set aside.
- 🍝 Cook linguine according to package directions.
- 🧄 Sauté garlic and red pepper flakes in the rendered pork fat.
- 🥚 Whisk egg yolks with some pasta water and parmesan cheese.
- 🍝 Toss cooked linguine with the garlic mixture, egg yolk mixture, and crispy pork jowl. Garnish with parsley and more parmesan.
