Ingredients

  • 🐖 Pork Jowl – 1 lb, skin on
  • 🍶 Soy Sauce – 1/4 cup
  • 🍬 Sugar – 2 tbsp
  • 🌿 Ginger – 2 slices
  • 🧅 Scallions – 2, chopped

Instructions

  • ♨️ Blanch pork jowl in boiling water for 5 minutes.
  • 🔪 Cut pork jowl into large pieces.
  • 🍲 In a pot, combine pork jowl, soy sauce, sugar, and ginger.
  • ⏳ Simmer on low heat for 2 hours, or until tender.
  • 🧅 Garnish with chopped scallions and serve hot.
