Ingredients
- 🫘 Chickpeas (Chole) – 1 cup, soaked overnight
- 🌾 Whole wheat flour – 2 cups (for Poori)
- 🧅 Onion – 1 large, chopped
- 🍅 Tomatoes – 2 medium, pureed
- 🌶️ Ginger-Garlic paste – 1 tbsp
- 🌿 Spices (turmeric, cumin, coriander) – 1 tsp each
- 💧 Oil – for frying Poori
Instructions
- 🍲 Cook chickpeas until tender. Mash some for a thicker gravy.
- 🔥 Sauté onions, then add ginger-garlic paste and tomato puree.
- 🌶️ Add spices and cook until oil separates.
- 🫘 Add chickpeas and simmer for 15-20 minutes.
- 🌾 Prepare Poori dough, roll into small circles and deep fry until golden brown. Serve hot with Chole.
