Ingredients
- 🐟 Pomfret – cleaned and cut
- 🧅 Onions – finely chopped
- 🍅 Tomatoes – pureed
- 🧄 Ginger-garlic paste – 1 tbsp
- 🌶️ Green chilies – slit
- 🌿 Curry leaves – a few
- 🥥 Coconut milk – 1 cup
- 🍋 Lemon juice – 1 tsp
- 🧂 Turmeric powder, red chili powder, coriander powder, salt – to taste
Instructions
- 🔥 Heat oil, add curry leaves and green chilies, sauté for a minute.
- 🧅 Add onions and ginger-garlic paste, sauté until golden brown.
- 🍅 Add tomato puree and all the spice powders, cook until oil separates.
- 🐟 Add pomfret pieces gently, coat with the masala, and cook for 5 minutes.
- 🥥 Pour coconut milk and simmer until the fish is cooked through. Add lemon juice.
- 🌿 Garnish with coriander leaves and serve hot with rice.
