Ingredients

  • 🍚 Idli Rava – 1 cup
  • 🌱 Urad Dal – 1/2 cup
  • 🥜 Pistachios – 1/4 cup, ground
  • 💧 Water – as needed
  • 🧂 Salt – to taste

Instructions

  • 💧 Soak idli rava and urad dal separately for 4-5 hours.
  • 🥣 Grind urad dal to a smooth batter. Mix with idli rava and ground pistachios. Add salt.
  • ⏳ Let the batter ferment overnight or for 8-10 hours.
  • ♨️ Steam in idli molds for 10-12 minutes or until cooked through.
  • 🥣 Serve warm with chutney and sambar.
