Ingredients
- 🍚 Rice – 1 cup (long grain)
- 🧅 Onion – ½ medium, diced
- 💧 Broth – 2 cups (chicken or vegetable)
- 🧈 Butter – 2 tablespoons
- 🧂 Salt – to taste
Instructions
- 🔥 Melt butter in a pot over medium heat, add onions and sauté until translucent.
- 🍚 Add rice and stir constantly for 2-3 minutes until lightly toasted.
- 💧 Pour in broth and add salt.
- 🍲 Bring to a boil, then reduce heat to low, cover, and simmer for 20-25 minutes, or until all liquid is absorbed.
- 🥄 Fluff with a fork and serve warm.
