Ingredients

  • 🌿 Palak (Spinach) – chopped
  • 🍚 Toor Dal (Pigeon Pea Lentils) – rinsed
  • 🧅 Onion – finely chopped
  • 🍅 Tomato – diced
  • 🌶️ Green Chilies – slit
  • 🧄 Ginger-Garlic Paste – 1 tbsp
  • 🍋 Lemon Juice – 1 tsp
  • 🌿 Curry Leaves – few
  • 🥄 Turmeric Powder – 1/2 tsp
  • 🥄 Red Chili Powder – 1/2 tsp

Instructions

  • 🍚 Cook toor dal in a pressure cooker until soft.
  • 🌿 Sauté onions, green chilies, and ginger-garlic paste in a pot.
  • 🍅 Add tomatoes and cook until softened, then add spinach and spices.
  • 🥘 Mix cooked dal and simmer until well combined.
  • ✨ Garnish with lemon juice and curry leaves. Serve hot with rice.
