Ingredients
- 🌿 Palak (Spinach) – chopped
- 🍚 Toor Dal (Pigeon Pea Lentils) – rinsed
- 🧅 Onion – finely chopped
- 🍅 Tomato – diced
- 🌶️ Green Chilies – slit
- 🧄 Ginger-Garlic Paste – 1 tbsp
- 🍋 Lemon Juice – 1 tsp
- 🌿 Curry Leaves – few
- 🥄 Turmeric Powder – 1/2 tsp
- 🥄 Red Chili Powder – 1/2 tsp
Instructions
- 🍚 Cook toor dal in a pressure cooker until soft.
- 🌿 Sauté onions, green chilies, and ginger-garlic paste in a pot.
- 🍅 Add tomatoes and cook until softened, then add spinach and spices.
- 🥘 Mix cooked dal and simmer until well combined.
- ✨ Garnish with lemon juice and curry leaves. Serve hot with rice.
