Ingredients
- 🍖 Veal shanks – Ossobuco cut
- 🧅 Onions – sliced
- 🧄 Ginger-garlic paste
- 🌶️ Nihari spice mix
- 🌾 Whole wheat flour
- 🍋 Lemon wedges – for serving
Instructions
- 🍖 Dredge veal shanks in flour.
- 🔥 Brown shanks in a pot with oil.
- 🧅 Sauté onions and add ginger-garlic paste, then add nihari spice mix.
- 🥘 Add shanks back, cover with water, and simmer until tender.
- 🍋 Serve hot, garnished with lemon wedges and fresh cilantro.
