No-Fold Shrimp Dumplings

Ingredients

  • 🦐 Shrimp – peeled, deveined, and minced
  • 🥟 Dumpling Wrappers – store-bought rounds or squares
  • 🧄 Garlic & Ginger – 1 tsp each, finely minced
  • 🌱 Green Onions – thinly sliced
  • 🥢 Soy Sauce & Sesame Oil – 1 tsp each for seasoning
  • 🌽 Cornstarch – 1 tbsp to bind the filling

Instructions

  • 🥣 Combine minced shrimp, garlic, ginger, green onions, and seasonings in a bowl.
  • 🥟 Place a small scoop of the shrimp mixture onto the center of each wrapper.
  • ♨️ Place the open-faced dumplings directly into a steamer basket without folding edges.
  • 🔥 Steam over boiling water for 6–8 minutes until the shrimp is pink and cooked through.
  • ✨ Serve immediately with a side of chili oil or soy sauce for dipping.
