Ingredients
- π Country Chicken (Natukodi) β 1 kg cleaned and cut
- π§ Onions β 2 large, finely chopped
- π Tomatoes β 2 medium, diced
- π§ Ginger-Garlic Paste β 2 tbsp fresh
- πΆοΈ Green Chilies β 3-4 slit
- π§ Spices β Turmeric, Red Chili Powder, and Garam Masala
- πΏ Curry Leaves & Cilantro β for aroma and garnish
- π’οΈ Cooking Oil β 4 tbsp
Instructions
- π₯ Heat oil in a pressure cooker and sautΓ© onions, chilies, and curry leaves until golden brown.
- π Add ginger-garlic paste and the chicken pieces, sautΓ©ing until the meat is lightly seared.
- π Stir in the tomatoes and spices, cooking until the tomatoes soften and oil starts to separate.
- π§ Add 2 cups of water, seal the pressure cooker, and cook for 5-6 whistles until the country chicken is tender.
- β¨ Sprinkle fresh cilantro on top and serve hot with steamed rice or ragi sankati.
