Ingredients

  • 🍚 Cooked Rice – 2 cups, day-old recommended
  • 🥓 Pork Belly – 200g, sliced
  • 🖤 Black Bean Sauce – 2 tbsp (for 'Hitam')
  • 🧅 Onion – 1 medium, chopped
  • 🧄 Garlic – 2 cloves, minced
  • 🌶️ Chili – 1 small, sliced (optional)
  • 🍳 Eggs – 2, for frying
  • 🟢 Green Onions – for garnish
  • 🍶 Soy Sauce – 1 tbsp
  • 🧂 Salt and Pepper – to taste

Instructions

  • 🔥 Stir-fry pork belly until crispy. Set aside.
  • 🧅 Sauté onions and garlic until fragrant. Add chili if using.
  • 🍚 Add rice and black bean sauce. Stir-fry to combine.
  • 🥓 Add back the pork belly and soy sauce. Season with salt and pepper.
  • 🍳 Fry eggs sunny-side up. Serve nasi goreng topped with egg and green onions.
