Ingredients

  • 🥣 All-purpose flour (Maida) – 1 cup
  • 🥜 Gram flour (Besan) – 2 tbsp
  • 🌾 Semolina (Sooji) – 1 tbsp
  • 🧈 Ghee (Clarified butter) – ½ cup
  • 🍬 Powdered sugar – ½ cup
  • 🫚 Cardamom powder – ½ tsp
  • 🌰 Pistachios or Almonds – sliced for garnish

Instructions

  • 🥣 Cream together the ghee and powdered sugar until the mixture is light, pale, and fluffy.
  • 🌾 Sift in the flour, besan, sooji, and cardamom powder, then gently fold to form a soft dough.
  • 🍪 Shape the dough into small, smooth rounds and place them on a lined baking tray.
  • 🥜 Gently press sliced nuts into the center of each cookie and bake at 180°C (350°F) for 15–20 minutes.
  • ✨ Allow the cookies to cool completely on the tray until they become firm and crumbly.
