Ingredients
- 🐑 Mutton – 1.5 kg, large pieces
- 🍚 Basmati Rice – 2 cups, soaked
- 🧅 Onions – 2 large, sliced
- 🧄 Garlic – 6 cloves, minced
- 🌶️ Mandi Spice Mix – 2 tbsp
- 🍋 Lemon – 1, juiced
- 🌿 Fresh Coriander – for garnish
Instructions
- 🔥 Marinate mutton with mandi spice mix, lemon juice, and salt; rest for 30 mins.
- 🧅 Sauté onions and garlic until golden brown in a large pot.
- 🐑 Add mutton and brown on all sides, then add water to cover and cook until tender.
- 🍚 Remove mutton, add rice to the broth, and cook until rice is done.
- 🥘 Roast the cooked mutton until slightly crisp, then serve over rice, garnished with coriander.
