Ingredients
- 🐑 Mutton Raan (leg) – 1 large piece
- 🍚 Basmati Rice – 4 cups
- 🧅 Onions – 2 large, sliced
- 🍅 Tomatoes – 3 medium, chopped
- 🧄 Garlic – 6 cloves, minced
- 🌶️ Mandi Spice Mix – 3-4 tbsp
- 🌿 Fresh Coriander – for garnish
- 💧 Water – as needed
Instructions
- 🐑 Marinate the mutton raan with mandi spice mix and keep aside for at least 2 hours.
- 🍚 Soak basmati rice in water for 30 minutes.
- 🔥 In a large pot, sear the marinated mutton raan until browned on all sides.
- 🧅 Add sliced onions and garlic and sauté until golden brown. Add chopped tomatoes and cook until soft.
- 🍚 Add soaked rice and enough water to cook the rice and mutton. Simmer until rice is cooked and mutton is tender.
- 🌿 Garnish with fresh coriander and serve hot.
