Ingredients
- 🌱 Moong Dal (split green gram) – 1 cup, soaked
- 🍚 Sugar – 1.5 cups
- 💧 Water – as needed
- 🌼 Saffron strands – a pinch
- 🥄 Cardamom powder – 1/4 tsp
- 🛢️ Ghee or Oil – for frying
Instructions
- 🥣 Grind soaked moong dal into a smooth batter.
- 🔥 Heat ghee/oil in a pan for deep frying.
- 🌀 Pour batter into hot oil to form jalebi shapes.
- 🍯 Fry until golden brown and crispy, then soak in sugar syrup.
- ✨ Garnish with saffron and cardamom before serving warm.
