Ingredients
- 💛 Moong Dal – 1 cup
- 🍚 Rice – 1/2 cup
- 🧅 Onion – chopped
- 🍅 Tomato – chopped
- 🌶️ Green Chili – slit
- 🫚 Ginger – grated
- 🌿 Coriander Leaves – chopped
- 🥄 Ghee – 2 tbsp
- 🧂 Salt – to taste
- ✨ Turmeric powder – 1/2 tsp
Instructions
- 💛 Wash moong dal and rice together.
- 🔥 Heat ghee in a pressure cooker; add onions and sauté.
- 🍅 Add tomatoes, green chili, ginger and spices; cook until softened.
- 🍚 Add moong dal, rice and water (3 cups); add salt.
- 🥘 Pressure cook for 3-4 whistles. Garnish with coriander and serve hot.
