Ingredients

  • 🌱 Moong Dal – 1 cup
  • 🍚 Rice Rava – 1/2 cup
  • 🥄 Yogurt – 1/4 cup
  • 🌶️ Green chilies – 1-2 (optional)
  • 🌿 Cilantro – for garnish
  • 🧂 Salt – to taste
  • 💧 Water – as needed
  • ⚙️ Eno fruit salt – 1 tsp

Instructions

  • 💧 Soak moong dal for 2-3 hours and grind to a smooth batter.
  • 🥣 Mix the batter with rice rava, yogurt, salt, and green chilies (if using). Let it rest for 15 minutes.
  • ♨️ Add eno fruit salt to the batter and mix gently.
  • 🍚 Pour the batter into greased idli molds and steam for 10-12 minutes.
  • ✨ Serve hot with chutney and sambar.
