Ingredients

  • 🍚 Rice Flour – 1 cup
  • 🥥 Grated Coconut – 1 cup
  • 🍬 Jaggery – 1/2 cup
  • 💧 Water – 1 cup
  • 🌱 Ghee – 1 tbsp
  • 🌿 Cardamom Powder – 1/4 tsp

Instructions

  • 💧 Boil water, add ghee, and gradually mix in rice flour to form a smooth dough. Knead well.
  • 🥥 In a pan, sauté coconut and jaggery until the jaggery melts and blends well. Add cardamom powder.
  • 🖐️ Shape the rice flour dough into small cups, fill with the coconut-jaggery mixture, and seal the edges to form modaks.
  • ♨️ Steam the modaks for about 15-20 minutes or until cooked through.
  • ✨ Serve warm and enjoy this traditional sweet treat.
