Ingredients

  • 🌾 Wheat Flour – 1 cup
  • 🫘 Besan (Gram Flour) – 1/2 cup
  • 🧅 Onion – finely chopped
  • 🌶️ Green Chilli – 1, finely chopped
  • 🌿 Coriander Leaves – chopped
  • 🧂 Spices (Turmeric, Chilli Powder) – to taste
  • 💧 Water – as needed
  • 🧈 Ghee or Oil – for cooking

Instructions

  • 🥣 In a bowl, mix wheat flour, besan, chopped onion, green chilli, coriander leaves, and spices.
  • 💧 Add water gradually and knead into a soft dough.
  • ⏲️ Let the dough rest for 10 minutes.
  • 🔥 Heat a tawa or flat pan.
  • 🖐️ Divide the dough into equal portions and roll each into a roti.
  • 🍳 Cook the roti on the hot tawa, applying ghee or oil on both sides, until golden brown and cooked through.
  • 🍽️ Serve hot with yogurt or any side dish.
