Ingredients

  • 🍞 Bread Flour – 3 cups
  • 🥛 Milk – 1 cup, lukewarm
  • 🍯 Honey – 2 tbsp
  • 🌱 Active Dry Yeast – 2 tsp
  • 🧈 Butter – 2 tbsp, melted
  • 🧂 Salt – 1 tsp
  • 🥚 Egg – 1 large (optional)
  • 🌾 Wheat Germ – 2 tbsp (optional)
  • 🥛 Milk Powder – 2 tbsp

Instructions

  • 🌱 Activate the yeast in warm milk with honey. Let it sit for 5-10 minutes until foamy.
  • 🥣 In a large bowl, mix the flour, salt, milk powder, and optional wheat germ.
  • 🥛 Add the yeast mixture and melted butter. Knead until a smooth, elastic dough forms.
  • ⏲️ Let the dough rise in a warm place for 1-1.5 hours, or until doubled in size.
  • ♨️ Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until golden brown.
