Ingredients
- 🌾 Whole wheat flour – 2 cups
- 🌿 Fresh methi (fenugreek leaves) – 1 cup, chopped
- 🌶️ Green chilies – 1-2, finely chopped
- 🧅 Onion – 1 small, finely chopped
- 🫘 Gram flour (besan) – 2 tbsp
- 🛢️ Oil/Ghee – for cooking
- 🧂 Spices – to taste (turmeric, red chili powder, coriander powder)
- 💧 Water – as needed
Instructions
- 🌿 Mix wheat flour, methi, green chilies, onion, gram flour, spices, and salt.
- 💧 Add water gradually and knead into a soft dough. Let it rest for 15 mins.
- 🔥 Divide the dough into equal portions and roll each portion into a paratha.
- 🛢️ Heat a flat griddle (tawa) and cook each paratha with oil/ghee until golden brown on both sides.
- 🍽️ Serve hot with yogurt, butter, or pickle.
