Meatball Marinara Sub

Ingredients

  • 🧆 Meatballs – 10-12 pre-cooked (beef or turkey)
  • 🍅 Marinara Sauce – 1.5 cups of your favorite brand
  • 🥖 Sub Rolls – 2 fresh hoagie or Italian rolls
  • 🧀 Mozzarella Cheese – 1 cup shredded or 4 slices
  • 🧀 Parmesan Cheese – 2 tbsp grated
  • 🌿 Fresh Parsley – chopped for garnish

Instructions

  • 🥘 Place meatballs and marinara sauce in a pan and simmer on medium heat for 10 minutes.
  • 🥖 Slice the sub rolls open and lightly toast them in the oven until golden brown.
  • 🥄 Carefully spoon the hot meatballs and extra sauce into the toasted rolls.
  • 🧀 Layer mozzarella cheese over the meatballs and broil for 2 minutes until melted.
  • ✨ Garnish with parmesan and fresh parsley before serving warm.
