Ingredients

  • 🍞 Shokupan bread – 4 slices
  • 🥩 Cooked meat (e.g., steak, pork) – thinly sliced
  • 🥬 Cabbage – shredded
  • 🇯🇵 Tonkatsu sauce – for drizzling
  • 💛 Japanese mayonnaise – to taste
  • 💛 Butter – for toasting

Instructions

  • 🔪 Prepare all ingredients: Slice the meat and shred the cabbage.
  • 🧈 Butter the outside of each slice of shokupan bread.
  • 🔥 Toast the bread slices in a pan or toaster until golden brown.
  • 🥪 Spread Japanese mayonnaise on one slice of bread, then layer with shredded cabbage, sliced meat, and tonkatsu sauce.
  • 🍞 Top with another slice of bread and serve immediately.
