Ingredients
- 🍞 Shokupan bread – 4 slices
- 🥩 Cooked meat (e.g., steak, pork) – thinly sliced
- 🥬 Cabbage – shredded
- 🇯🇵 Tonkatsu sauce – for drizzling
- 💛 Japanese mayonnaise – to taste
- 💛 Butter – for toasting
Instructions
- 🔪 Prepare all ingredients: Slice the meat and shred the cabbage.
- 🧈 Butter the outside of each slice of shokupan bread.
- 🔥 Toast the bread slices in a pan or toaster until golden brown.
- 🥪 Spread Japanese mayonnaise on one slice of bread, then layer with shredded cabbage, sliced meat, and tonkatsu sauce.
- 🍞 Top with another slice of bread and serve immediately.
