Ingredients

  • 🥛 Milk – 2 cups
  • 🌿 Matcha Powder – 2 tbsp
  • 🍬 Sugar – ½ cup
  • 🥚 Egg Yolks – 3 large
  • 🍦 Heavy Cream – 1 cup

Instructions

  • 🔥 Heat milk and matcha powder until steaming, but not boiling.
  • 🥚 Whisk egg yolks and sugar until pale and thick.
  • 🥣 Slowly pour hot milk mixture into egg mixture, whisking constantly.
  • 🌡️ Return mixture to pot and cook over low heat until it thickens slightly.
  • ❄️ Stir in heavy cream, chill completely, then churn in an ice cream maker until frozen.
