Ingredients
- 🥛 Milk – 2 cups
- 🌿 Matcha Powder – 2 tbsp
- 🍬 Sugar – ½ cup
- 🥚 Egg Yolks – 3 large
- 🍦 Heavy Cream – 1 cup
Instructions
- 🔥 Heat milk and matcha powder until steaming, but not boiling.
- 🥚 Whisk egg yolks and sugar until pale and thick.
- 🥣 Slowly pour hot milk mixture into egg mixture, whisking constantly.
- 🌡️ Return mixture to pot and cook over low heat until it thickens slightly.
- ❄️ Stir in heavy cream, chill completely, then churn in an ice cream maker until frozen.
