Ingredients
- 🥛 Whole milk – 2 cups
- 🍚 Sugar – 1 cup
- 🥚 Egg yolks – 6 large
- 🧀 Mascarpone cheese – 8 oz
- 🍦 Heavy cream – 1 cup
- ✨ Vanilla extract – 1 tsp
Instructions
- 🔥 Heat milk and sugar until sugar dissolves.
- 🥚 Whisk egg yolks until pale and thick.
- 🥛 Slowly temper egg yolks with warm milk mixture.
- 🔥 Cook custard over low heat until it coats the back of a spoon.
- 🧊 Stir in mascarpone, cream, and vanilla. Chill completely, then churn in an ice cream maker. Freeze for at least 3 hours.
