Ingredients

  • 🥛 Whole milk – 2 cups
  • 🍚 Sugar – 1 cup
  • 🥚 Egg yolks – 6 large
  • 🧀 Mascarpone cheese – 8 oz
  • 🍦 Heavy cream – 1 cup
  • ✨ Vanilla extract – 1 tsp

Instructions

  • 🔥 Heat milk and sugar until sugar dissolves.
  • 🥚 Whisk egg yolks until pale and thick.
  • 🥛 Slowly temper egg yolks with warm milk mixture.
  • 🔥 Cook custard over low heat until it coats the back of a spoon.
  • 🧊 Stir in mascarpone, cream, and vanilla. Chill completely, then churn in an ice cream maker. Freeze for at least 3 hours.
