Ingredients
- 🍰 Sponge Cake – 1 thin layer for the base
- 🥭 Mango Puree – 1.5 cups fresh and smooth
- 🥛 Heavy Cream – 2 cups
- 🍬 Sugar – 1/2 cup or to taste
- 🍮 Gelatin Powder – 15g bloomed in cold water
- 🍦 Vanilla Extract – 1 tsp
Instructions
- 🍰 Place a pre-baked sponge cake layer at the bottom of a round springform pan.
- 🔥 Gently heat the cream and sugar in a saucepan until the sugar dissolves completely.
- 🥭 Remove from heat and whisk in the bloomed gelatin and mango puree until smooth.
- 🥣 Pour the mango mixture over the cake base and tap gently to remove air bubbles.
- ❄️ Refrigerate for at least 6 hours until firm, then garnish with fresh mango slices.
