Mango milk cake

Ingredients

  • 🥭 Mango Puree – 1 cup fresh and smooth
  • 🥛 Full Cream Milk – 500ml for the base
  • 🍬 Sugar – 1/2 cup or to taste
  • 🍰 Sponge Cake – ready-made or homemade base
  • 🥛 Milk Powder – 1/4 cup for thickness
  • 🥜 Pistachios – chopped for garnish
  • 🍈 Cardamom Powder – a pinch for aroma

Instructions

  • 🥛 Boil milk in a heavy-bottomed pan and reduce it by half on medium heat.
  • 🍬 Stir in sugar, milk powder, and cardamom until the mixture thickens slightly.
  • 🥭 Remove from heat, let it cool slightly, and fold in half of the mango puree.
  • 🍰 Place the sponge cake in a tray and pour the mango-milk mixture evenly over it.
  • ❄️ Spread the remaining mango puree on top, garnish with nuts, and chill before serving.
