Ingredients

  • 🥯 Kunafa dough (Kataifi) – shredded
  • 🧈 Butter – melted and mixed with pastry
  • 🥭 Fresh Mangoes – cubed or sliced for filling and topping
  • 🥛 Thick Cream (Ashta) – for a creamy center
  • 🍯 Sugar Syrup – chilled and flavored with rose water
  • 🥜 Pistachios – crushed for garnish

Instructions

  • 🥣 Shred the kunafa dough into small pieces and mix thoroughly with melted butter.
  • 🥘 Press half of the dough into a pan, layer with cream and mangoes, then cover with remaining dough.
  • ⏲️ Bake at 180°C for 20-25 minutes until the pastry is golden brown and crispy.
  • 🍯 Pour cold sugar syrup over the hot baked kunafa immediately for maximum absorption.
  • ✨ Top with extra fresh mango slices and pistachios before serving warm.
