Ingredients
- 🍚 Basmati Rice – 4 cups
- 🍗 Chicken or Lamb – 2 lbs
- 🧅 Onion – 2 large, chopped
- 🍅 Tomatoes – 2, blended
- 🧄 Garlic – 4 cloves, minced
- 🌿 Mandi Spice Mix – 2 tbsp
- 💧 Water – 6 cups
Instructions
- 🔥 Sauté onions and garlic in a large pot until golden brown.
- 🍗 Add the chicken or lamb pieces and brown on all sides.
- 🍅 Stir in the blended tomatoes and Mandi spice mix. Cook for 5 minutes.
- 🍚 Add the basmati rice and water. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer until rice is cooked.
- ✨ Serve hot on a large platter, garnished with fried onions and nuts (optional).
