Ingredients
- 🌾 Rice – 2 cups
- 🧅 Onions – 2 medium, chopped
- 🧄 Garlic – 2 cloves, minced
- 🌶️ Green chilies – 2, chopped
- 🌿 Cilantro – for garnish
- 💧 Water – as needed
- 🧂 Salt – to taste
- 🥄 Cooking oil – 2 tbsp
Instructions
- 🔥 Heat oil in a pot, add onions and sauté until golden brown.
- 🧄 Add garlic and green chilies, sauté for a minute.
- 🌾 Add rice and water, bring to a boil.
- 🥘 Reduce heat, cover and simmer for 20 minutes, or until rice is cooked.
- 🌿 Garnish with cilantro and serve hot.
