Ingredients

  • 🌾 Rice – 2 cups
  • 🧅 Onions – 2 medium, chopped
  • 🧄 Garlic – 2 cloves, minced
  • 🌶️ Green chilies – 2, chopped
  • 🌿 Cilantro – for garnish
  • 💧 Water – as needed
  • 🧂 Salt – to taste
  • 🥄 Cooking oil – 2 tbsp

Instructions

  • 🔥 Heat oil in a pot, add onions and sauté until golden brown.
  • 🧄 Add garlic and green chilies, sauté for a minute.
  • 🌾 Add rice and water, bring to a boil.
  • 🥘 Reduce heat, cover and simmer for 20 minutes, or until rice is cooked.
  • 🌿 Garnish with cilantro and serve hot.
