Ingredients
- 🫘 White chickpeas – 1 cup soaked overnight
- 🍶 Yogurt – 1 cup
- 🌰 Cashews – 1/4 cup soaked
- 🥥 Coconut – 1/4 cup grated
- 🫚 Ginger – 1 inch piece
- 🌶️ Green chilies – 2
- 🌿 Bay leaf – 1
- 🧂 Spices – turmeric, coriander, garam masala
Instructions
- 🥣 Grind cashews, coconut, ginger, and green chilies into a smooth paste.
- 🔥 Sauté bay leaf and spices in oil until fragrant.
- 🥘 Add the ground paste and cook for 5 minutes.
- 🍚 Stir in yogurt and soaked chickpeas; simmer until gravy thickens.
- 🌿 Garnish with fresh coriander and serve hot with rice or roti.
