Low Calorie BBQ Pulled Beef Burger

Ingredients

  • 🍔 Burger buns – 4
  • 🥩 Beef chuck roast – 2 lbs
  • 🧅 Onion – 1, chopped
  • 🧄 Garlic – 2 cloves, minced
  • 🔥 BBQ sauce – low calorie
  • 🥬 Lettuce – for topping
  • 🍅 Tomato – sliced, for topping

Instructions

  • 🥩 Season beef with salt, pepper, and your favorite BBQ rub.
  • 🔥 Sear beef on all sides in a pot or Dutch oven.
  • 🧅 Add onion and garlic to the pot and cook for a few minutes.
  • 🥘 Add BBQ sauce and water/broth to cover the beef partially. Simmer on low heat (or slow cook) for 3-4 hours, or until beef is easily shredded.
  • ✨ Shred beef with two forks. Serve on burger buns with lettuce and tomato.
