Ingredients
- 🥩 Beef tenderloin – 4 pieces
- 🍄 Mushrooms – sliced
- 🧅 Onion – chopped
- 🍷 Red wine – 1 cup
- 🥛 Heavy cream – 1/2 cup
- 🌿 Fresh thyme – 1 sprig
- 🧈 Butter – 2 tbsp
Instructions
- 🥩 Sear beef tenderloin in butter until browned on all sides.
- 🧅 Sauté onions and mushrooms in the same pan until softened.
- 🍷 Deglaze the pan with red wine, scraping up any browned bits.
- 🥛 Stir in heavy cream and thyme; simmer until sauce thickens.
- 🥩 Return beef to the pan and cook to desired doneness. Serve hot. ✨
