Ingredients
- Fish Curry: 🐟 500g Kingfish, 🧅 1 large onion, 🍅 2 tomatoes, 🌶️ 2 green chillies, Ginger-garlic paste, Tamarind pulp, Coconut milk, Spices (turmeric, red chilli powder, coriander powder)
- Rice: 🍚 2 cups rice
- Vegetable Dish (e.g., Bhaji): 🥬 250g spinach/other greens, 🧅 1 onion, Spices (mustard seeds, cumin seeds, turmeric)
- Sol Kadhi: Kokum, Coconut milk, 🌿 Coriander leaves, Green chillies, Ginger-garlic paste
- Pickle: 🥭 Mango/Lime pickle
- Poppadums: 🫓 Ready-made poppadums
Instructions
- Fish Curry: Marinate fish with turmeric and salt. Sauté onions, ginger-garlic paste, tomatoes, and chillies. Add spices and tamarind pulp. Add coconut milk and simmer. Add fish and cook until done. 🥘
- Rice: Wash rice and cook in a pot or rice cooker until fluffy. 🍚
- Vegetable Dish: Sauté mustard seeds and cumin seeds. Add onions and greens. Add spices and cook until wilted. 🥬
- Sol Kadhi: Soak kokum in warm water. Extract kokum juice. Mix with coconut milk, ginger-garlic paste, chillies, and coriander leaves. Season with salt. 🍹
- Serve: Arrange rice, fish curry, vegetable dish, sol kadhi, pickle, and poppadums on a plate to create the Goan Thali. 🍽️
