Ingredients
- 🐷 Whole piglet – about 5-7 kg
- 🧄 Garlic – minced
- 🌿 Bay leaves
- 🧂 Salt
- 🌶️ Black pepper
- 💧 Lard or olive oil
- 🍋 Lemon wedges – for serving
Instructions
- 🔪 Prepare the piglet by cleaning and drying it thoroughly; rub with salt, pepper, and minced garlic.
- 🔥 Preheat oven to 350°F (180°C). Place the piglet on a roasting rack.
- 💧 Baste the piglet with lard or olive oil and add bay leaves to the roasting pan.
- ⏳ Roast for about 2 hours, basting frequently, until skin is crispy and golden brown.
- 🔪 Carve and serve hot with lemon wedges.
