Ingredients

  • 🌿 Bay leaves
  • 🧂 Salt
  • 🌶️ Black pepper
  • 💧 Lard or olive oil
  • 🍋 Lemon wedges – for serving

Instructions

  • 🔪 Prepare the piglet by cleaning and drying it thoroughly; rub with salt, pepper, and minced garlic.
  • 🔥 Preheat oven to 350°F (180°C). Place the piglet on a roasting rack.
  • 💧 Baste the piglet with lard or olive oil and add bay leaves to the roasting pan.
  • ⏳ Roast for about 2 hours, basting frequently, until skin is crispy and golden brown.
  • 🔪 Carve and serve hot with lemon wedges.
