Ingredients
- 🥒 Lauki (Bottle Gourd) – peeled and cubed
- 🧅 Onion – finely chopped
- 🍅 Tomato – finely chopped
- 🧄 Ginger-Garlic paste – 1 tbsp
- 🌿 Coriander leaves – for garnish
- 🌶️ Green chili – slit
- 🥄 Cooking oil – 2 tbsp
- 🧂 Basic spices (turmeric, cumin, coriander powder)
Instructions
- 🔥 Heat oil in a cooker/pan, add cumin seeds, and let them splutter.
- 🧅 Add onions, sauté until golden, then add ginger-garlic paste and green chili. Fry for a minute.
- 🍅 Add tomatoes and spices. Cook until the oil separates.
- 🥒 Add lauki and salt. Mix well and cook for 2-3 whistles in a pressure cooker or until tender in a pan.
- 🌿 Garnish with coriander leaves and serve hot with roti or rice. ✨
