Ingredients
- 🌾 Whole wheat flour – 2 cups
- 💧 Water – as needed
- 🧈 Ghee or oil – for layering and cooking
- 🧂 Salt – to taste
- 🌿 Dry flour – for dusting
Instructions
- 🥣 Knead a soft dough with wheat flour, salt, and water. Rest for 15 mins.
- ⚪️ Divide the dough into equal portions and roll into a thin circle.
- 🧈 Spread ghee/oil evenly, dust with flour, and start pleating like a paper fan.
- 🌀 Coil the pleated strip into a spiral shape and gently flatten it.
- 🔥 Roll again into a parantha and cook on a hot tawa with ghee until golden brown on both sides.
