Ingredients

  • shredded 🥐 Kunafa dough – 250g
  • 🧀 Soft cheese (like mozzarella or akkawi) – 200g
  • 🧈 Melted butter – 1/2 cup
  • 🍯 Sugar syrup (for drizzling) – to taste
  • pistachios 🌰 (chopped, for garnish)

Instructions

  • 🔥 Preheat oven to 180°C (350°F). Mix kunafa dough with melted butter.
  • 🧀 Press half the kunafa mixture into small molds. Add cheese in the center.
  • ✨ Cover with the remaining kunafa. Press gently.
  • ⏲️ Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until golden brown.
  • 🍯 Drizzle with sugar syrup and garnish with pistachios before serving.
