Ingredients
- shredded 🥐 Kunafa dough – 250g
- 🧀 Soft cheese (like mozzarella or akkawi) – 200g
- 🧈 Melted butter – 1/2 cup
- 🍯 Sugar syrup (for drizzling) – to taste
- pistachios 🌰 (chopped, for garnish)
Instructions
- 🔥 Preheat oven to 180°C (350°F). Mix kunafa dough with melted butter.
- 🧀 Press half the kunafa mixture into small molds. Add cheese in the center.
- ✨ Cover with the remaining kunafa. Press gently.
- ⏲️ Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until golden brown.
- 🍯 Drizzle with sugar syrup and garnish with pistachios before serving.
