Ingredients

  • 🍚 Steamed bao buns – 4
  • 🌱 Tofu – firm or extra-firm
  • 🌶️ Gochujang – Korean chili paste
  • 🥬 Kimchi – chopped
  • 🥒 Cucumber – thinly sliced
  • 🧅 Scallions – for garnish
  • 🍶 Soy sauce – for marinade
  • 🧄 Garlic – minced
  • 🫘 Sesame oil – for cooking

Instructions

  • 🔪 Press tofu to remove excess water, then cut into cubes and marinate in soy sauce and garlic.
  • 🍳 Pan-fry or bake tofu until golden brown and crispy.
  • ♨️ Steam bao buns until soft and warm.
  • 🥬 Assemble bao buns with tofu, kimchi, cucumber, and a dollop of gochujang.
