Ingredients
- 🧊 Tofu – firm or extra-firm, pressed
- 간장 Soy sauce – for braising liquid
- 🌶️ Gochujang – Korean chili paste
- 🧄 Garlic – minced
- 🧅 Onion – sliced
- 🥕 Carrot – sliced
- 🍄 Mushrooms – sliced
- 🌱 Green onions – for garnish
- Sesame oil – for flavor
Instructions
- 🔥 Sear tofu in a pan until golden brown on all sides.
- 🧅 Sauté onion, garlic, and carrots in the same pan.
- 🌶️ Add gochujang, soy sauce, and a little water to create the braising sauce.
- 🥘 Place the seared tofu back in the pan with the sauce. Add mushrooms.
- ⏳ Simmer until the sauce has thickened and the tofu has absorbed the flavors. Garnish with green onions and sesame oil.
